Happy 3rd Birthday Tucker!

My sweet baby boy turns three today.

He brings so much joy and love to our lives each and every day and never ceases to amaze us with the things that he has learned.

Here is a recap of your second year of life.

Firsts:
  • In December you had your very first stay in the hospital since being born.  You had a mild seizure caused from too high temperature after getting your little flu shot.  This scared mommy and daddy beyond belief!  Thankfully we haven't experienced another seizure.
  • In January you got your first big boy bed.  Although you only slept in it twice :) you love jumping on your bed and playing in the storage area underneath.
  • You had tubes put in your little ears in February.  Since then you haven't had an ear infection!  Yay!
  • In April you had your first trip to the Zoo.  You had lots of fun with cousins Emma and Connor. Can't wait to go back!
  • In June Mommy and Daddy took you to your first minor league baseball game to see the Mississippi Braves.
  • In August you started using the potty and completely wearing big boy undies all the time.  Mommy and Daddy really like this!
  • In October you went to Build a Bear for the first time and built a Bunny that you named "Rabbit"
Smarts:
  • You can recite your entire alphabet and not leave out a letter!
  • You have been able to spell "Tucker" since early spring.
  • You can count to 20.
  • You know most of your colors when you're not being silly!
Funnies and Favorites:
  • Your favorite song is "Country Girl Shake it for Me" by Luke Bryan and you sing this all the time.
  • You love to sing and say your prayers.
  • Your favorite shows to watch are "Team Umizoomie" "Phinneas and Ferb" "Bubble Guppies" "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" "Little Bill" and "Little Bear"
  • Your favorite movies to watch are "Toy Story" "Cars" and "Open Season"
  • You say "Oh Mom" when I tell you to clean up your mess.
  • Sometimes when Mommy and Daddy are getting on to you you say "Whatever"
  • You carry a baby doll around and think that she is your "Baby Sister"
  • You play baseball, basketball and football in the house everyday.
  • You can hit and throw a baseball like no-ones business!
  • You say "Oh Shoot" quite often.
  • You tell Mommy and Daddy "I lub you" many many times a day.  We like that too!
Sizes:
  • You wear mostly 3T and 4T tops and 2T and 3T pants
  • You wear a size 8.5 shoe
  • You weigh
  • You are    tall
Mommy and Daddy love you so much Pumpkin!

Halloween and Family Pictures

Happy Halloween!

It is hard to believe that Halloween is already here.  This year just seems to be flying by.

I remember thinking when I was a kid that time seemed to move so slowly.  Now that I'm older time just goes by too quickly.

Saturday night our church had it's annual Trunk r Treat.  My sweet Tucker went as "Woody" from "Toy Story."  My baby does love him some "Toy Story."

We had a great time with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

Isn't he the cutest?

This is Tuckers "No more pictures please" face!  Love it!!

What's a cowboy without his trusty Ole Miss flag?  Ha!

We are looking forward to taking Tucker Trick or Treating this afternoon.  Since he is a little older he is more into Halloween this year.

A couple of weeks ago we had some new family pictures taken and I'm so excited about them.

We have always had pictures taken in a studio and let me tell you that Tucker doesn't take to being confined to one little area.  This year we decided to hire a photographer and have her do some outdoor photos and I'm so glad we did.  Tucker did so well!  Here is a sneak peak of our pictures.

Absolutely LOVE!!

Hope y'all are having a great week and have a Happy Halloween!

Happy Happy

A few things that are currently making me happy happy...

1.)  My Ole Miss Rebels are 2-0!  This makes me super happy!  Originally I had planned on giving my ticket to Saturday's game to my nephew since my he has been a huge Texas fan his whole life.  I was really hopping to somehow find a way to the game since I heard that Matthew McConaughey was going to be in town to cheer his Longhorns on.  Well, this morning my sister-in-law called to tell me that she was able to get my brother and nephew tickets so I could actually go!  Yay!  Hopefully I'll be able to spy that hottie!!

Justin and I at last Saturday's game against UTEP

2.)  My sweet niece Emma Beth was in a little pageant at her school and WON!  She had 22 little darlings in her group.  She was beautiful!  We now have our very own "Honey Boo Boo!" lol

Emma Beth

3.)  I have to brag on my sweet Tucker just a little bit.  Tucker has been in big boy undies for almost 3 weeks now.  We have had only a few accidents.  We still put a pull up on him during nap time and bed time.  He is doing so great!  I really could not have done this without our awesome babysitter.  She has been a God-send through this whole thing.  Couldn't be prouder.

Sorry no picture :)

What's making you happy happy this week?

Girls Night Out

Y'all I am super stoked about Rebel football starting this Saturday.

Last night I went to a "Girls Night Out" paint party where we painted "Football Frenzy."  There were a lot of excited Ole Miss and State fans there!

A few weeks ago, I went and painted our beloved Colonel Reb.  Col. Reb was way hard to draw, but I thought it turned out super cute!

Looking forward to a great winning Rebels season!

Hope your team has a winning season as well!

My Summer

So my summer consisted of spending a lot of time on the road with this sweet guy...

to spend time with this sweet guy in Jackson, MS...

we went to a Mississippi Braves game and had a blast...

spent a lot of time playing at the park and swimming in Daddy's pool...

we even had time this summer to road trip it to Biloxi to hit up the beach, although Tucker was afraid of the ocean because as he put it, "there's alligators in there"!  He cracks me up!!

We miss Daddy while he is away working, but we like to send him special messages to let him know just how much we do miss him...

We are vey thankful that Daddy has been able to make it home on the weekends lately.  I feel as thought we all live on the road!

So that pretty much sums up my summer... work, travel and spending time with the ones I love most.

Hope things slowwww way down soon!

Have a great one!

Friday Night Lights

Hi all!  I know you all thought that I totally disappeared!  I know it's been almost 4 months since my last  post... oh my has it really been 4 months?!?!... but seriously I have been extremely busy!

I'm so thankful that school has started for our kiddos and it's been a smooth start at that!  One of the greatest things about school starting up is FOOTBALL season!!  Whoop whoop!  Our hometown had it's first home football game since 1930.  I kid not!  My hometown school is super small but we are very proud of our football team.

Our school started football about four years ago, and slowly but surely our sports complex was finally completed over the summer.  You cannot imagine how excited we are, and boy did we rock the house.

Our first home game was Friday night August 17.  We had a total of 1,200 in attendance!  Let me tell you that that was major for our little town of 600!  We played cross county rivals H.W. Byers and won!  32-6.  It really was an amazing night and we look forward to Friday Nigh Lights!  Our next home game will be September 14.  Can't wait!!

My nephew's painted the Cardinal... they did a great job!

My sweet little guy and me!

Love It!

Getting ready for the kick-off

This Saturday will kick-off the season for my beloved Ole Miss Rebels.  We are excited to have season tickets again this year.  We wish Coach Freeze a great and winning season.  Hotty Toddy!

I promise I'm going to do better with my little blog here.  I'll have to let y'all in on what all I have been up to over the summer.

Have a great week yall!
