My Bridal Portraits

I have seen so many cute blogs with newly weds.  While my husband and I will be celebrating our 3 year Anniversary in March I thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures from my bridal portrait session.

That is just a few that I had on my computer.  I had a great time taking these pictures.  The place that I had my pictures taken at is an antebellum home in Holly Springs, MS called Walter Place Estates.  You should definately come visit during the annual Pilgramage that is held in the Spring.

Weekend Update

Well we had another snow day last Friday (this makes the 6th one)!  Geez, I am so ready for spring!  Our poor students may truly be going to school into the summer.  We are also predicted for more snow tonight... 3-6 inches to be exact.  

Anyway, enough depressing news :)... This weekend my wonderful husband and I had a date night, the first one in I couldn't tell you how long.  We went out to eat and to see True Grit.  I really enjoyed the movie and want to see the original very badly.  My husband laughed at me though, because I was very upset when the horse died... he said that there were people dying all through the movie and I was upset over a horse.  Go figure ;)!

On Sunday instead of taking a nap between church services we watched Legends of the Fall.  I had never watched this movie and enjoyed it as well.  

I know, our weekends are kind of boring, but we love our little life.

Finally Snow Pics!

I have been really lazy about my blogging in the past week or so.  I know y'all already know about the big snow we got here in the south.  Yesterday was the first day back for our students and there is a chance of more snow/ice tomorrow.  We may be having school into the summer, which is ok with me because our office is open all summer anyway ;)!  So, here is a few snow pics we took.

Happy Birthday, Momma!

Happy Birthday today to my sweet Momma!  I am extremely blessed to have such a wonderful Godly woman to call my mom.  My prayer is that I can be half the Mom that she has been to me.  She has always been here for me.  She is my best friend and I pray that she has many many more birthdays to celebrate (I still have many more things to learn!).

Happy Birthday, Momma!  I LOVE YOU!!!

Out of the Blue Text...

I am truly thankful to the Lord for sending me Justin.  He is absolutely the man I always prayed that I'd marry!  The Lord certainly answers prayers.  Anyway, Justin randomly sends me texts from time to time just to let me know he's thinking about me and that he loves me.  Just now I received this text 

"Thank you for being a great mother and wife.  I appreciate everything you do for Tuck and me.  I love you babydoll!"

Isn't he the sweetest?!?  This truly brought tears to my eyes.

Happy Birthday!

Happy 19th Birthday to my sweet nephew Tyler!  I was only 8 when he was born, but I sure do remember it!  I am so thankful that he was born before my grandmother passed away.  She loved him so much!  Tyler, we love you and are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Christmas and New Years

Justin, Tucker and I had a great Christmas and New Years with great friends and family!  I am a little on the sad side today though since I had to leave my sweet baby boy after being off with him for two weeks.  Anyway, here is a rundown of highlights from our two weeks off.

• Tucker and I went last minute shopping with Nanny and Emma Beth.
• Looking at a House!  (Fingers Crossed and Many Prayers going Up for this one!)
• Christmas with the families on Christmas Eve.
• Waking Tucker up to see what Santa brought.  He was very excited!
• Annual Christmas breakfast with the Clayton's (Uncle Ralph and Aunt Kay) on Christmas Morning.
• Actually getting to sleep late several mornings, thanks to my wonderful husband!
• Going shopping without Tucker, thanks to my wonderful husband!
• Justin and I hitting up the Bass Pro Shop to spend his Christmas gift cards.
• Finding out that I'm going to get a new niece!
• Going to Emma Grace's Birthday Party!  Hard to believe she is 5!!
• Spending New  Years Eve with Little Billy, Amy, and Zoe.
• Running dogs (Hunting) with my husband, Daddy, Brothers and a Nephew.
• Starting the new year right at Church!!

Exciting stuff, huh!  I really enjoyed spending quality time with Justin and Tucker.  It seems we are always in a rush during the week and on the weekends that we hardly get to see one another.   I hope to slow it down some this year.
