My Big Boy!

Tucker came through his procedure just fine!  He actually dealt with it all way better than I did.  

I was expecting him to be ill since he couldn't have his juice cup that morning.  He let the nurse check his blood pressure, temperature and oxygen levels without a fuss.  When we went down to the holding room, before they took him back, he was up and playing around like it was no big deal.  They took him from me for the procedure and he didn't even cry... but this momma did!  

The procedure took all of five minutes and he was only away from us for about 30 minutes total.  Tuck was a little fussy when they brought him back to the room, but was soon over it.  He has been in the best mood since we had this done.  He still isn't sleeping well at night, but I'm sure that will come with time.

Yesterday, I was off work for President's Day.  Tucker and I had a great time together!  I'm so thankful that it was pretty and warm enough for us to play outside.  Tucker definitely loves being outside.  Here are a few things we did yesterday...

and playing ball!

I'd certainly say it was a great day!  

Now, counting down the days until Spring Break!!!!

Prayers Please!

My sweet baby boy will be having his little procedure for tubes in the morning.  We have to be at the hospital at 5:45.  I know this isn't considered a major surgery, but to Mommy and Daddy it is!

Winter?!?!

Did it totally decide to turn winter all of a sudden or what?!?!

I swear this weather is what's making my loves sick!  Snow today and then back in the mid to high 50's tomorrow.   Typical Mississippi weather!  Crazy!

Anyway, we had a great weekend!  We really didn't do anything spectacular but it was great anyway. I do have a few pictures to document so here goes...

Tucker's Cozy Coop has a trailer and he likes to ride in it while we push.  Doesn't he look like a little prince?!  Ha!!

So that pretty much sums up how our weekend went.  I love spending time at home with no where to go!  Hope your weekend was a great one too!

Tubes it is...

I took my little guy to the ENT Dr. yesterday.  He did surprisingly well!  He sat still and let the Dr. do his thing.  He had lots of fluid so he suggested tubes.  I had a feeling this was coming.  We scheduled for next friday.  As it happens, my niece Emma Beth will be having her adenoids and tonsils taken out and tubes put in the same day by the same Dr.  At least we will all be together!

I feel terrible for not blogging more, but honestly I have had no motivation!  So, once again, here is a random post!

My Tucker has been suffering from an ear infection for the past three weeks.  We have an appointment with an ENT in the morning, so hopefully we'll get some answers as to why this infection won't go away.

The hubs and I went to watch our Rebels play basketball a few weeks ago.  We had a great time!

My sweet niece Mary Ella was in the hospital over the weekend battling RSV.  Poor thing was so sick!  Thankfully she was released yesterday and is doing much much better.  Love my sweet girl!

Today is my best friend Amy's birthday!  We have been friends for most of our lives and our parents were friends before we were born.  I honestly don't know what I'd do without our friendship.

Welp, that is about as random as it can get!  Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of blogging soon!
